D J Shyam

This is D J Shyam, and we are based right here in Vijayawada with the zip code 520001. We don't have one of those big, shiny offices you see in the movies. It’s just a place where we keep our speakers, mixers, and all the cables that go along with them. Vijayawada is a place that never really stays quiet, and we like it that way. We’ve been doing this for quite some time now, mostly through people telling their friends about us. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to tell us what to say. We just like music and making sure the sound is right for whatever event we are at. It’s a lot of heavy lifting, moving those big boxes around and setting everything up before the guests arrive. The weather in 520001 can get pretty hot, so we are usually sweating by the time the music starts. We aren't looking to become famous or anything like that. We just want to keep working in the city we grew up in. Sometimes the equipment breaks or a cable goes bad, and we have to fix it on the fly. That’s just part of the life of a DJ. We don't use any fancy language to describe ourselves. We are just Shyam and the crew, doing what we know how to do. If you see us loading the van, you’ll know it’s just another day of work for us in Vijayawada.
