Bashira Tent House

If you find yourself on Nsm Road in the Patamata area of Vijayawada, you will likely see our sign. Bashira Tent House is located at Door No 68-2-19/1. We are right across the road from Adithya Vidyaniketan Patamata, which makes it easy for the truck drivers to find us. This place is more of a warehouse than a proper office. We have stacks of heavy metal poles, bundles of colorful fabric, and hundreds of chairs piled up. It is physical work and we are often covered in dust or sweat by the end of the day. The Vijayawada sun is quite strong, so we try to get most of the heavy loading done early in the morning before it gets too bad. We have a small desk in the corner where we keep our ledgers and take notes on what needs to go where. There is no computer system or fancy software here. We just use our pens and paper to keep track of everything. Sometimes a tent gets a tear or a pole gets bent, and we spend our afternoons doing repairs. It is not glamorous work, but it is what we know. We have been part of the neighborhood for a long time. We know the rhythms of the street and the people who live nearby. We just focus on getting the gear delivered on time and making sure it stays up. We do not really have a big marketing plan; people just find us.
