Aakrati Udyog

Aakrati Udyog is based at 19, Industrial Area on Sagar Road. It’s a fairly typical spot for a business like ours. The industrial area is a bit out of the main town, so it’s quieter than the city center but still full of the sounds of work. We have a decent-sized space here where we keep our equipment and stock. The building is older, and you can see the wear and tear on the floors. We don’t mind it much because it shows the place is being used every day. Sagar Road can get busy with heavy vehicles, so we have to be careful when we are moving things in and out of the gate. There’s a small group of us who handle everything from the orders to the actual labor. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. It’s not a high-tech environment. We use tools that we’ve had for years because they still work just fine for us. If someone comes to visit, they usually find us with our sleeves rolled up. We don't have a fancy website or a glossy brochure to show people. Usually, someone just hears about us from another shop owner and gives us a call. We do our best to finish whatever is on the list for the day. It’s steady work, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of life out here on Sagar Road.
