S. S. Impex

S. S. Impex is located at No. 804 in the GIDC Estate. The estate is huge, and it can be hard to find specific plots if you don't know the way. We are at 804. It's a standard industrial shed like most of the others here. We use it for our import and export activities. Most of the space is for storage and checking the goods. We have a small corner for the office where we keep the records. GIDC is a busy place with lots of different businesses. You can hear machines running from the neighbors all day long. It's a very practical environment. We don't have any polished floors or bright lights. It's just a place of work. We’ve got a few workers who help with the heavy lifting and some staff for the office tasks. We just try to stay organized. Sometimes things get a bit messy when a big shipment arrives, but we sort it out. We don't really do much advertising. People usually find us through word of mouth or by just knowing we are here in the estate. We focus on the daily tasks and making sure things are handled properly. It gets quite dusty inside the shed, so we are always cleaning up. We also have a small area where we keep the water cooler and some snacks. It is a basic setup for S. S. Impex, but it works for what we need. We've got a big metal door that we keep open for the breeze, though it also lets in a lot of the noise from the street. You get used to the sound of the forklifts after a while.
