L P Lodge

L P Lodge is situated at 74, Babu Rao Street. We are right across the way from CMC Hospital, which is why a lot of people end up finding us. It’s a busy street, full of people coming and going at all hours of the day and night. We have rooms for folks who need a place to stay while they are visiting the hospital or just passing through town. It’s a simple building, nothing too modern, but we try to keep it clean and comfortable for whoever walks through the door. We spend a lot of our time at the front desk, checking people in and out. Sometimes it gets a bit hectic when a lot of people arrive at once. The street noise can be a bit much, but once you’re inside, it’s a bit quieter. We’ve seen all sorts of people stay with us over the years. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who handle the cleaning and the keys. We try to be helpful if someone asks for directions or needs a place to eat nearby. There are plenty of small stalls around here for food. It’s a practical place to stay if you need to be near the hospital. We don't put on any airs; we just provide a room and a bed. That’s how we’ve always done it here on Babu Rao Street. We hope people feel okay while they are here.
