If you go to 18, Bangalore Road, you will find D H L Express India Pvt. Ltd. We are situated right near the North Police Station, so we are pretty easy to spot if you are in that part of town. It’s a busy location with a lot of traffic passing by all the time. Our days are filled with packages and parcels of all shapes and sizes. We spend a lot of time loading things into the vans and checking labels to make sure everything is going where it should. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and moving boxes around the floor. The North Police Station is a good landmark for us. Sometimes the Bangalore Road gets backed up with cars, which makes it tricky for our drivers to get out, but they manage. We have a small counter where people come in to drop things off or ask about their shipments. It’s a straightforward job, really. We don’t have much in the way of a lobby, just a practical space for getting things weighed and sorted. We get people from all over coming in, some in a hurry and some just wanting to chat for a minute while we look up their tracking. We try to keep things organized, even when the back room gets full. It’s a fast-paced environment, but we’ve got our own way of doing things here at number 18.
