Alacritas Technologies Private Limited is way out in Vellore, specifically in Katpadi Taluk. You can find us at No. 1/40 on Pillaiyar Koil Street in Vanjur, near the Senur post. It is definitely a more rural setting than what you’d find in a big city, which gives us a different perspective on things. The office is right there on the street near the temple, so we hear the bells and the local activity throughout the day. Vellore can get incredibly hot, maybe even more so than Chennai, so the afternoons can be a bit of a struggle sometimes. We are a small team and most of us grew up in this region or nearby. Our work involves a lot of tech stuff, but we try not to let it get too complicated. We just sit at our desks and work through whatever is on the list for the day. Sometimes we have people stop by just to say hello, since it is that kind of neighborhood where everyone knows each other. The commute for us usually involves bikes or local transport, and it’s a fairly short trip for most of the staff. We don’t have any big corporate talk going on; we just want to do good work and keep the business running smoothly. Being in Vanjur keeps us grounded, and we like the fact that we can do this kind of technical work from a place that feels like home.
