Maniraj Singh

I am Maniraj Singh and I live at 162 Indra Nagar in Virupatchipuram, Vellore-2. This is where I do all my work from. Vellore is a place that everyone knows for the hospital and the fort, but my part of town is a bit more tucked away. Indra Nagar is a decent residential area where kids still play in the streets sometimes. My house is easy to spot if you know the lane. I’ve been doing this for a few years now. I don't have any employees; it’s just me handling the paperwork and the clients. I didn't go to some big business school to learn how to do this. I just learned by doing it every day. Sometimes I make mistakes, but I always make sure to fix them. My desk is usually covered in papers and my tea cup is always half empty. It’s not a corporate environment at all. I talk to my neighbors as much as I talk to my customers. People come by and we sit on the porch if the weather is nice. I like the independence of working for myself. It means I can take a break when I want, though I usually end up working late anyway. Vellore heat is no joke, so I do most of my heavy lifting in the mornings. It’s a plain, honest life here in Virupatchipuram and I wouldn’t change much about it. It keeps me going every day.
