Our workshop is at Gala No 10, over on Plot 33 in the Choudhary Industrial Estate. It’s out in the Pelhar Vakan Pada area of Nallasopara. If you come by, you’ll definitely hear the saws before you see the door. The whole place is usually covered in sawdust, no matter how much we sweep it up at the end of the day. We do a lot of woodworking here, from cutting planks to putting together basic furniture. It’s a loud, busy environment with a lot of heavy machinery and piles of timber stacked against the walls. We’ve been in this estate for quite a while now. Most of the other shop owners around here know us by now. We don't have a showroom with finished pieces; it’s a working shop where things are actually built. There’s a small desk in the corner with a phone and some blueprints, but we’re usually at the workbenches. It’s hard work and your hands get pretty rough after a few years of this. We take orders from people who need specific sizes or types of wood for their own projects. It’s not a polished business, just a place where we work with our hands and get things done. The air always smells like fresh pine or teak. It’s what we do every day, and we’re used to the noise and the grit of the industrial estate. We just take it day by day and try to get the orders out on time.
