Our small office is tucked away in Mittal Enclave over in Naigaon East. We are in Building Number 5, specifically Flat 51. It’s a residential area mostly, so it’s pretty calm during the day while everyone is at work. Being in Nalanda makes it easy for the local delivery guys to find us. We spend a lot of time here dealing with biotech stuff for farms. It’s mostly computer work and phone calls, checking on how the crops are doing and what the soil needs. The flat isn't huge, but it fits our desks and the few samples we keep on the shelves. Sometimes the balcony gets a good breeze which helps when the afternoon heat kicks in. Naigaon is growing fast, so there’s always construction noise somewhere nearby, but inside it’s alright. We started here because the rent made sense and it’s close to the station for anyone coming from the city. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. If you knock on the door of Flat 51, one of us will just get up and let you in. We usually have the fan on high and some papers spread out over the dining table we use as a workspace. It is just how we run things here. It’s a simple life of looking at data and talking to people about their land. We don't need much more than a working phone line and some peace to think. Our neighbors are nice and they don't mind us.
