Dholakiya Agri Farm

Dholakiya Agri Farm is based out of Sai Darshan Apartment. We have Office No. 1 and 2. It’s right near the Mangal Murti Building and opposite that old ice factory. Virar East has changed a lot lately. There’s a lot more noise than there used to be. We deal with agricultural stuff, mostly focusing on what we can get from the farms nearby. The Phoolpara Road gets very crowded in the evenings. Sometimes it takes forever just to get a rickshaw to the station. Our office is simple. We have a couple of desks and a lot of ledgers. My cousin stays in the back sometimes when we have late-night work to finish up. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just know us because we’ve been in this building for a long time. The ice factory across the way makes a lot of humming noises throughout the day. You don't even hear it after a week of working here. We mostly spend our time on the phone or talking to the farmers who come down to visit. It’s a lot of talk about the weather and the crops. Sometimes the rain gets so heavy that the road floods a bit, and we have to put sandbags by the door. It’s just how it is in this part of town.
