Vicky Provision Store

Vicky Provision Store is right here at Bansphatak Chowk. Varanasi gets really crowded during the day, especially near the crossroads where we are. We keep all the basic stuff like flour, different types of dals, oils, and soaps that people need for their kitchens every morning. The shop isn't huge, but we pack a lot onto the shelves so everything stays within reach. It gets a bit noisy outside with the rickshaws and people walking to the temple, but we just go about our work. Most of our customers are locals who live in the nearby lanes and have been coming here for years. We open up early because that is when most folks want to buy their milk or bread before starting their day. Sometimes the delivery trucks take a while to get through the narrow streets, so we just wait. The floor needs sweeping a lot because of all the foot traffic. It is just a regular shop where you can find your groceries without any fuss. Most of the time, I am just sitting behind the counter weighing things or writing down accounts in the ledger. It’s a busy spot in Bansphatak and there is always something happening outside the door. We try to keep enough stock so nobody has to go back empty-handed. It’s just how we do things every day here. We don't have a website or any fancy phone apps.
