Suruchi General Store

Over in Aurangabad, which is part of the Varanasi 221001 area, you will find Suruchi General Store. We have been working out of this location for quite some time now, just serving the people in the local neighborhood. It is a very basic general store, nothing too elaborate, just the kind of place where you get your daily needs. The streets here in Varanasi can be quite narrow and crowded, but we like the energy of it. We don't have a whole lot of help, usually just one or two of us keeping an eye on the shelves and the counter. It gets a bit dusty from the road outside, so we are always wiping things down to keep the products looking decent. People from around Aurangabad know us well enough to just pop in when they need a single item. We don't have a website or any fancy marketing, we just keep the doors open and wait for customers to arrive. We know the local patterns, like when people are headed to work or when they are coming back home for tea. Those are the times we are busiest. We try our best to keep everything in stock so that no one leaves empty-handed. It is a quiet, simple life running a shop in this part of town, and we’re quite happy with that. We just take it one day at a time here.
