Sinha General Store

Sinha General Store sits in Arya Nagar, right across from the Holy Convent School. Because of the school being right there, we see a lot of students and parents throughout the day. It’s a busy little spot, especially when classes start or when they let out in the afternoon. We sell a lot of school supplies like pens, pencils, and notebooks, but we also have general items for the home. You can find snacks, cold drinks, and basic groceries on our shelves. The shop is quite packed with stuff, and sometimes it is hard to find a place for everything. We have piles of boxes in the corners most of the time. It is a very simple business, and we don't have any corporate training or anything like that. We just learn as we go and try to help the customers find what they are looking for. The street outside can get very crowded with cycles and cars during the school rush. We spend a lot of our time just chatting with the parents while they wait for their kids. It’s a nice way to spend the day, even if it gets a bit loud sometimes. We don't have a big team, just us making sure the shop stays open and the stock is replaced. It’s a regular part of the neighborhood life here in Arya Nagar and we’ve been doing this for many years now without much change or fancy equipment.
