Sidhi Vinayak General Store

This is Sidhi Vinayak General Store. We are located over on Chandmari Road in Varanasi, 221001. Being right beside Jivandeep College means we see a lot of students coming and going throughout the day. It’s usually pretty loud around here between classes when the kids are out. We started this shop to just handle the basic stuff people need in their houses around this part of town. The rainy season makes the road a bit messy but people still come by anyway. We spend most of our day behind the counter. It isn't anything fancy, just some wooden shelves and stock we get from the main market. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit outside on a stool for a bit until it comes back. My family helps out with the shifts so there is usually someone here from early morning until late evening. We know most of the people living in the nearby houses by their names now. It feels like a small community even though Varanasi is a big, busy city. We don't have a big sign or anything special, just the usual setup you'd expect from a general store. The college kids are always in a rush to get back to their rooms or classes. We just keep things moving along for them. There is nothing too complicated about how we run things here. It's just a way to make a living and be part of the neighborhood on Chandmari Road.
