Samad Silk Creations

Samad Silk Creations is based in J- 22/76 Ladhanpura, which is part of Jaitpura. We are located quite close to Baribazr, so there is always a lot of trade and movement going on around us. Jaitpura is famous for its silk work, and we are just one of the many families and small shops doing this kind of thing. Our space is filled with fabrics and threads, and the smell of the workshop is something we’ve grown up with. It’s not a polished showroom; it’s a place where things are actually made and sorted. We have looms and cutting tables that take up most of the room. Sometimes it’s hard to find a place to sit because there’s silk everywhere. We don’t really do fancy advertising because most of our work comes from people who already know our name or who find us near the bazaar. It’s a busy life, especially when we have a lot of orders to finish before a big wedding season. The lanes around Ladhanpura are narrow, and it can get quite hot in the summer with all the machinery running. We just keep at it, day after day. It’s a traditional way of working that hasn’t changed much over the years. We take pride in what we do, but we don’t feel the need to shout about it. It’s just honest work in a part of town that knows its silk. We stay busy with the threads.
