Sagar Store

Sagar Store is a small spot we have in the Durgakund area of Varanasi. We are situated right by Manas Mandir, which is a place many people know. Our shop is one of those places where you can find all sorts of small things you might need in a hurry. We carry items like pens, soaps, snacks, and other general household stuff. The space inside is quite tight, so you have to watch your step between the stacks of boxes. Varanasi is a very old city with narrow lanes, and our location reflects that. There is always a lot of dust and noise from the traffic outside, but you get used to it after a few weeks. We don’t have a big staff, it’s usually just one or two of us behind the counter. We don't spend money on big advertisements or fancy logos. Our customers are mostly people who live nearby or are visiting the temple and realize they need something. It can get very busy during festival times when the whole road is packed with people. On those days, we hardly have time to eat. We try to keep things simple and honest. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to keep the shelves filled and making sure folks get what they came for. The wooden counter has been here for a long time and is starting to show its age. But it’s our place, and we are here every day.
