Sagar Computer

Sagar Computer is located at J 13/444 K-1 in Choukaghat, right near the Employment Office in Varanasi. Being near a government office means we see a lot of people every day who are in a hurry or need help with something specific. The shop is small and usually has a few computers set up along the walls. We do repairs, help with software, and deal with all the typical hardware issues people run into. The street outside is always noisy with rickshaws and people walking by. It’s a bit of a struggle to keep the dust out, but we do our best with a cloth and some spray. We don’t have a fancy showroom. Most of our space is taken up by tools, spare parts, and towers that are waiting to be fixed. We’ve been here in Varanasi for a good while, so we’ve seen the technology change quite a bit, but the problems people have are usually the same. We just sit at the workbench and try to get things running again. There’s no big corporate policy here; we just talk to people plainly and let them know how long a repair will take. It’s a simple business, and we like being in a part of town where there’s always something happening right outside the door.
