Rishabh Genral Store

We are one of the shops in the Nariya area of Varanasi. It’s a simple general store. We keep the basic things that people in this part of the city need every day. You can find us at the address in Nariya, which is easy to find if you live nearby. The shop is not very big, just enough room for the counter and a few rows of shelves. We keep things like soap, toothpaste, some snacks, and dry rations. It’s the kind of place where you stop by because you forgot one thing for your cooking. We’ve been here for a while and we see the same people every day. Some of them have been coming here since they were kids and now they bring their own children. We don't have any fancy decorations or bright signs. It’s just a practical shop. We spend a lot of time checking the dates on the packets and making sure nothing is sitting for too long. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to use a flashlight to find things for the customers, but we are used to it. It’s just a local business in Varanasi, nothing more and nothing less. We just try to be here when people need to buy their daily supplies. The rain can be a problem in the monsoon, but we keep the goods dry inside. We also keep a few umbrellas by the door for the staff.
