Ramzi

Our shop, Ramzi, is located right in the middle of Varanasi. It’s a place that’s always full of life and a bit of chaos, which is just how things are here. We aren't some big brand with offices in different cities. It’s just this one spot where we handle our daily business. We’ve been here for a good while now, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. The shop itself is small and packed with all sorts of things. Sometimes it’s hard to find a place to sit down because there are boxes everywhere. We open up in the morning when the city is just starting to wake up. We don't have a complicated way of doing things. If someone needs something, we look for it in the back. My nephew helps out on the weekends when he isn't at school. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for customers to stop by. Varanasi can be very loud with all the bells and traffic, but you get used to it after a few years. We don't spend money on flyers or big signs. Most people know us because they’ve lived here as long as we have. We just try to keep the shop running and make sure we have what people are looking for. It’s a quiet life, mostly, and we are fine with that. We just focus on the task in front of us.
