Rajput Building Material

If you’re driving down Khalidpur Road in Pindra, you’ll see us near the Shiv Mandir. Rajput Building Material has been here for a good bit now. It’s right near the primary school too, so it gets pretty lively in the mornings when the kids are heading in. We mostly deal with the local folks from the bazaar and the nearby houses. It’s a straightforward business. We stock the usual stuff like sand, bricks, and stones. The yard isn't huge but we fit what we can in there. Sometimes the trucks have a hard time backing in because the road isn't that wide. We don't use any fancy computer systems for our sales, just a simple book and a pen. Most of our customers are people we've known for years. We talk about the weather or the local news while we’re loading up their trailers. The temple nearby brings a lot of peace to the area, except when there’s a festival and the street gets blocked. We just go with the flow of the day. If it rains, we cover everything with tarps and wait it out. It’s just me and a couple of helpers keeping the place going. We don't pretend to be some big corporation. We’re just a shop on the road trying to provide what the village needs for their building work.
