Pal Building Materials

You can find us at Plot No- B-1, over in the 11/99 area of Ranipur Mahmoorganj. We are right near Pal Ji Thekedar’s place. Varanasi is a crowded city, and our spot is no different. We keep all the basic stuff you need to build a house, from sand to bricks. The yard is always a bit messy because of all the moving around of materials. We have stacks of tiles and bags of lime sitting around. It gets very hot here in the summer months, so we try to get most of the heavy work done early in the day. The neighbors know us well, and we often sit and have tea with whoever stops by. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are. Sometimes the roads around here are a bit narrow for the big trucks, which makes things tricky. We just manage the best we can. It’s a family-run kind of feel, even if we are just a building material yard. We see the same faces every week. We don’t worry about looking professional; we just want to make sure the materials are ready when someone needs them. It’s a quiet life in this corner of Mahmoorganj, just keeping the business going day by day. We've been at this plot for years and plan to stay as long as people need bricks.
