Rahul Provision Store

Varanasi is a city of small lanes and old neighborhoods, and Saket Nagar is no different. We run Rahul Provision Store in the New Saket Nagar area, near Nariya. It is a quiet residential spot compared to the main ghats, and most of our customers are families who have lived here for generations. We don't have a big supermarket or a fancy glass storefront. Our shop is just a simple room filled with the basic things a house needs, like soap, tea leaves, and cooking oil. We spend most of our day chatting with the neighbors who come in for a single packet of biscuits or some sugar. It is a slow pace of life here, and we like it that way. Sometimes the kids from the nearby houses come in with a few coins to buy sweets, and we have to help them choose. We don't have any corporate goals or big slogans. We just try to keep the shelves from getting too empty and make sure the goods are fresh. The monsoon season can be a bit tricky because the dampness gets into everything, so we have to be careful with how we store the flour and salt. It is just a small local business where we know almost everyone who walks through the door. If you are in the Nariya area, you will probably walk past us sooner or later.
