Pramod Gen. Stores

Pramod Gen. Stores is located in the Kirhiya area of Lanka in Varanasi. This part of the city is usually very busy because it is near the university and lots of students are always around. Our shop is at the 221005 address, and we’ve seen a lot of changes in the neighborhood over the years. We keep a variety of items that both students and local families need. It could be stationery one minute and cooking oil the next. The shop is a bit small, and we have boxes stacked up high to make room for everything. Varanasi is a place where things move at their own pace, but Lanka is always a bit faster. We spend our days behind the counter, reaching for items on the top shelves and chatting with the people who stop by. It’s not a fancy supermarket with air conditioning. We just have a couple of fans and the front door stays open to the street. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with the traffic outside, but you stop noticing it after a while. We don't have any polished mission or big goals; we just want to make sure the shelves are not empty when someone comes looking for something. It’s a regular general store run by regular people. We just do our best to keep things organized and help out the neighborhood.
