Pappu Gupta

This is just me, Pappu Gupta, working out of my place at Sa 3/41 in Chota Lalpur. It’s over in the Pandeypur area of Varanasi. I’ve lived in this part of town for a long time, so setting up here made sense. It’s not a big office building or a shopfront with bright lights. It’s just a regular spot in the neighborhood. People in Chota Lalpur know where the Sa 3/41 house is. Dealing with travel or whatever work comes my way is just part of the daily routine. I spend a lot of time on the phone or just waiting for the mail. The 221002 area is growing fast, and Pandeypur is always crowded these days. I remember when it was much quieter. Now there’s a lot of traffic and new buildings. I don’t have a big staff or anything like that. It’s mostly just me handling the details. Some days are slow and I just sit and watch the street. Other days, everyone needs something at once. That’s just how business goes when you’re on your own. Chota Lalpur is a good community, very local. Most of the people I deal with are from around here or found out through someone I know. It's practical and it works for me. I don’t see any reason to move to a fancy office downtown when everything I need is right here. My house is my office, and that's fine for the kind of work I do every day.
