Om Sai General Store

Down in Village Liladharpur, you will find us at Om Sai General Store. We are right here in the heart of the village in the Sant Ravidas Nagar district. This store is where everyone comes when they realize they forgot something for dinner or need a bit of soap. It is a small space, and we have got shelves stacked high with just about everything you could need for a house. It gets a bit crowded on market days, but we like the energy. We know most of the people who come in because we have lived in Liladharpur our whole lives. We don’t have any fancy scanners or self-checkout machines. We just write things down and count change by hand. Sometimes we run out of things if the delivery truck doesn't make it through the taluka on time, but people understand. It is a friendly place. We have a small bench outside where the older men sit and talk about the weather. We aren't looking to expand or open more branches. One store is plenty of work for us. We spend our days restocking shelves and chatting with the neighbors. It is not a complicated business. We just try to keep the staples in stock and the prices fair for the folks around here. If you are ever in Sant Ravidas Nagar and need a cold drink or some tea leaves, Om Sai General Store is usually open.
