Narag Provision & General Store

We’ve been here on Luxa Road for quite a long time now. Most people around here know us because we’re located right near the Gurudwara in Gurubagh. It is a busy spot in Varanasi, and we just try to keep our shelves stocked with the things people actually need for their homes every single day. If you live in this neighborhood, you probably stop by for your milk or lentils or maybe just a packet of biscuits when you're passing by. We don’t have a massive or fancy setup, just a regular provision store where things are easy enough to find if you look. Sometimes the morning rush gets a bit hectic when everyone is heading out to work or school, but we manage to get through it. My family helps out behind the counter most of the time. We know most of the faces that walk through the door by now. It’s a good neighborhood to be in, honestly. We keep a mix of everything, from laundry soap to cooking oil and spices. If we ever run out of something specific, we usually try to get it back in stock by the very next day. The shop stays open pretty late on most nights because people always forget something at the last minute. It isn’t always perfectly organized, but we know where everything is kept. Dealing with the heat in the summer can be tough, but we have a fan.
