You can find Meenu General Store in Varanasi, specifically on Chunarpur Road in the Chitaipur area. We are quite close to the State Bank of India branch, which makes it easy for people to locate us when they are out doing their banking chores. Varanasi is a city that’s always moving, and even here in the Assi region, there’s a lot of activity. Our store is just a basic general shop where we try to keep the everyday essentials in stock. We have things like cooking oils, spices, cleaning supplies, and some personal care items like toothpaste and hair oil. The shop is situated on the ground floor and has that typical local store feel, with items hanging from the ceiling and stacked on every available inch of shelf space. It gets quite crowded in the narrow aisles when more than three or four people are inside at once. Since we are near the bank, we get a lot of foot traffic from people who just need a quick drink or a snack while they wait. We’ve been part of this 221005 neighborhood for some time now. The walls are lined with various products and there’s always a bit of dust because of the road outside. We don’t have a website or any modern gadgets; we just stand behind the counter and help whoever walks through the door. It’s just a normal, everyday shop for the people living around Chunarpur Road and Assi.
