M.S.R Silk Creation

We have been at J11/16 Bunker Colony in Nati Imli for a while now. It is a busy spot but we manage okay. My family started M.S.R Silk Creation because we know silk. We spend our days around the looms and the fabric. It gets dusty and loud sometimes, but that is just how it goes here in this part of town. We make different silk items, mostly traditional stuff. Some people come by to see what we are doing or to pick up an order they placed last week. We don't have a big fancy office. It is just a workspace where the actual work gets done. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait, but usually, we stay busy. People around Nati Imli know where we are. We just focus on the threads and making sure the patterns look right. It takes a lot of time to get silk right. You can't rush it or it messes up the whole piece. We have a few people helping out. We sit together and talk about normal things while we work. It’s not a corporate job, just a regular local business. We keep our supplies in the back and the finished pieces upfront on some old wooden shelves. If you walk through Bunker Colony, you might hear the machines clicking. That is us. We don't do much advertising. Most people find us by word of mouth or just by living nearby. We just keep doing what we know how to do, day after day. It is hard work.
