Larte Overseas

Larte Overseas is tucked away at D38/15 B2 in Hauz Katora. It’s a bit hard to find the first time you visit because the numbering in this area is a little confusing. Our space is pretty cramped because we have to store a lot of samples right here in the office. There are boxes stacked against the walls and sometimes it feels like we’re tripping over each other. We spend our days typing out invoices and checking on freight carriers. It’s not exciting work, but it’s what we know how to do. We don’t have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy descriptions of what we do. We just help move products from here to places far away. Sometimes things get lost in transit or the paperwork gets rejected for some small reason, and we have to start all over again. That’s just part of being in the overseas trade. We have a small kettle in the corner for making tea, and that’s usually where we congregate when things get stressful. We aren't trying to change the world; we just want to make sure our families are taken care of and that the business stays afloat. We’ve been at this Hauz Katora address for several years and we’ve seen a lot of other businesses come and go, but we’re still here doing our thing. The neighborhood has changed quite a bit since we started, but our little corner remains the same. We just keep our heads down and worry about our own shipments instead of what everyone else is doing.
