Nomaan Exports

Nomaan Exports is over at A-32/65 B-2 in Chittanpura. It is a bit of a mouthful of an address, but it is where we have been for a long time. Chittanpura is a crowded area, and our place at A-32/65 B-2 is right in the thick of it. There is always the sound of people talking and scooters zooming by outside. Our space is divided into a small office and a larger area for all the goods we handle. It isn't a modern office by any stretch of the imagination. We have some old wooden desks and shelves that are sagging under the weight of all the files. We spend most of our time coordinating with different people to get things moved from one place to another. It involves a lot of patience and a lot of phone calls. We don't have any slogans or big promises. We just try to make sure that the items we export get where they are supposed to go. Sometimes the power goes out in Chittanpura and we have to work by flashlight for a bit. It’s just one of those things you deal with. We are just a small group of people working together. We know each other's families and often talk about what we’re having for dinner while we’re packing boxes. It’s a simple way to spend the day, and we aren't looking for anything more than that. We just keep at it.
