Goodwill Silk Coop. So. Limited

Down in Lallapura Sigra, at C15/113, you will find Goodwill Silk Coop. So. Limited. It is a bit of a mouthful of a name, but around here, people just know us for the silk. Being a cooperative means there are a lot of different hands involved in what we do. It is not like a big factory where everything is done by a machine you never see. Here, it is about the weavers and the folks who handle the thread every single day. Lallapura is a place with a lot of history in this trade, and we are just another part of that long line. The building itself is busy. There is usually a lot of talk going on and the sound of work is constant. We spend our days looking at patterns and making sure the looms are doing what they should. It is dusty work sometimes and your eyes get tired by the end of the shift. We don’t spend much time on fancy offices or making things look polished for visitors. Most of our space is taken up by the actual silk and the tools we need. It is a practical way to work and it keeps the lights on. We have been part of the Sigra community for quite a while, and we just keep at it, day in and day out, making sure the cooperative keeps moving for everyone involved here.
