Krishna General Store

We are located on Shindhora Road in the Bhojubeer area of Varanasi. It’s quite close to Navin Tent House, which makes it easy for people to find us. The shop isn’t very big, but we manage to squeeze in a lot of different items like snacks, cleaning supplies, and basic food items. Every morning starts with the same routine of sweeping the front and arranging the displays of chips and biscuits. The road outside is always dusty, so we have to wipe down the jars almost every single day. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a big sign, just the name Krishna General Store painted above the door. Most of the people who come here live in the nearby lanes, and we know exactly what they usually buy before they even ask. Sometimes we run out of change and have to ask the tea stall next door for help. It’s a busy life, especially during the festivals when everyone is out buying things for their homes. The fan in the corner hums all day, and we usually have the radio playing softly in the background. It’s just a normal, everyday shop where things are a bit messy but everything has its place. We don’t have any big plans, just being here and helping out the locals with their daily shopping. It keeps us occupied and we get to see the whole neighborhood pass by.
