The shop is located right in Anauni Bazar. If you know where the Power House is, we are sitting just opposite that. It is a busy spot in Saidpur Tehsil and you can find us easily. We get a lot of noise from the trucks passing by to the Union Bank nearby or the post office in Aurihar. My father started this place many years ago and I just stayed on. We handle a lot of different things here. It isn't just one type of product, but whatever the local builders and farmers need at the time. The yard gets a bit messy during the monsoon because of all the rain and mud, but we try to keep things organized enough to find what we need. We have some staff from the village who have been with us since the start. They know the work better than I do sometimes. Most days start at eight when we open the big metal gate. We do not do any advertising. People just see the sign when they are going about their business in Anauni. It is a dusty job, and the sun hits the front of the building all afternoon. We have a small wooden bench out front where people sit and talk while they wait for their orders to be loaded. It is not a big corporate setup. It is just a local business trying to get the orders out on time. Sometimes the electricity goes out because of the power house work, and then we just wait.
