We operate Varanasi Textiles from D- 27 Godowlia. If you know the area, you know it's right in the heart of things. It’s a busy spot with lots of people walking by all the time. Our place is packed with rolls of cloth from floor to ceiling. It isn't a neat and tidy showroom; it’s a working textile shop. We’ve been here at D- 27 for a long time. The building is old, like most things in Godowlia, but it’s sturdy. We spend our days measuring out fabric and talking to regulars. There’s always a bit of dust from the cotton, but that’s normal for us. We don't use any fancy sales talk. People come in, look at the textiles, and we help them find what they need. It’s a basic way of doing things, but it works. Sometimes it gets a bit loud outside with the traffic and the crowds, but once you’re inside, it’s just about the fabric. We don't have a big website or a social media person. We just open the doors in the morning and see who comes in. It’s been our way of life for years. We just focus on keeping the stock interesting and the prices fair for everyone who stops by. It’s just honest textile work in a busy market.
