Girja General Store

Girja General Store is located in Krishna Nagar Colony, which is in the Lanka area of Varanasi. Our shop is quite easy to find because we are near Ram Chhatarawas. This part of Varanasi, 221005, is always busy with students and families. We’ve been here for a while, just providing the basic things that people in Lanka need every day. You can find things like soap, lentils, notebooks, and snacks on our shelves. It’s a simple shop, nothing too fancy. I usually handle the counter myself, and maybe a family member helps out when it gets crowded in the evenings. The heat in Varanasi can be tough, so we have a small fan going behind the counter. We don't do much marketing or anything; people just know we are here near the hostel. It’s a practical business. We stock what sells and don't worry too much about the rest.
