Fairies International

Our place is located at D 31/320 A in Madanpura, specifically within the J. S. C. Sarees area. Fairies International is mostly about the traditional stuff. We spend a lot of time looking at patterns and colors. It’s a very hands-on job. We don't have a corporate office with air conditioning and glass walls. Instead, it’s a room full of fabric and the faint smell of dye and starch. Most of the people who work here have been doing this since they were young. We don't have any fancy titles; we just do what needs doing. Some of us handle the weaving while others deal with the customers who come by. Madanpura is a busy place, and there’s always something going on in the streets outside with the carts and the vendors. We don't have a marketing team to tell our story. We just let the work sit there for people to see for themselves. It’s a practical way to live. Making sure the sarees are folded right takes time, as does checking that the colors aren't running on the finished pieces. It’s not a high-tech business, but it’s what we know best. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the city or anything like that. We just want to keep the shop running and continue the work we’ve always done. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from early morning until the sun goes down.
