Setting up Ediq Technologies Private Limited in Chatripur was a choice we made because it’s close to where a few of us live. Being at Arazi No.600 in Shivpur means we are away from the really crowded parts of the main city, which is nice for a change. The office isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a regular building among others. Inside, we have our computers and a bunch of cables running along the floor that we really should tidy up one day. It’s usually a bit dusty because of the roadwork nearby, so we spend the first ten minutes of the day wiping down the screens. We don’t have a big HR team or a canteen. If someone is hungry, they go out to the local stalls. The internet goes out sometimes when it rains hard, and we just wait it out or talk about things until it comes back. It is a simple way of working. Most of our day is spent looking at screens and trying to figure out why a piece of code isn't doing what it should. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, we are just a small team handling tech work as it comes in. It’s a quiet life here in 221003. We like the fact that it feels like a neighborhood office rather than a glass box.
