Banarasi Sarees And Dress

We have been here in Lallapura for quite a while now at 316/190. It is just a small, simple shop where we keep our Banarasi sarees and different types of dress materials. Most days you will find us sorting through new stock or talking to the neighbors who drop by to say hello. We started this because there was a real need for good fabric around here, and we knew a bit about it. There is no big showroom or fancy lights here, just stacks of clothes and us. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when the new bundles arrive from the weavers, but we manage. We try to keep things simple and honest. If you walk down the lane, you really can’t miss us. We handle everything ourselves, from opening up the shutters in the morning to packing up the orders in the evening. It is a lot of work, but it keeps us busy and out of trouble. My cousin usually helps with the customers while I look after the books and the stock. We do not have a big team or anything like that. We are just regular people trying to run a decent shop for the community. People come here when they want something specific for a wedding or just a regular suit. We show them what we have on the shelves and they pick what they like. It’s a quiet life, mostly. We don’t bother with advertising; word of mouth works just fine for us.
