Akriti Designer

Akriti Designer is tucked away in Pahlukapura, over in the Phulwariya area of Varanasi Cantt. It is a bit of a walk from the main station, but it is a quiet enough spot for us to focus on our work. The building itself is just a regular house where we have set up our space. We spend a lot of time looking at patterns and dealing with fabrics all day long. Sometimes the neighborhood children are playing outside, and it gets a bit noisy, but we do not mind much. It is nice being in a place that feels like a real community rather than a cold industrial park. We do not have any big neon signs or flashy windows. Most people find us because they live nearby or heard about us from a neighbor. The work we do here takes patience, and we are not in a hurry to rush through things just to get them out the door. We usually start the day early when it is still cool outside. By the time the afternoon sun hits Phulwariya, we are usually deep into whatever project is on the table. It is a small team here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from cleaning up the scraps to talking to the people who drop in. It is just a normal business trying to do honest work in the Cantt area. We have been here for a while and like the quiet life of the backstreets.
