Sukya Drinking Water Factory

Sukya Drinking Water Factory is situated over in Mahavir Nagar, part of the Mahavir Vihar complex right near National Highway 8 in Vapi. Being so close to the highway means there is a constant hum of trucks and traffic passing by. Inside the factory, things are a bit different. It’s all about the sound of the water pumps and the bottling machines. We spend our shifts making sure the filters are working and the bottles are getting filled correctly. It is a lot of physical work, moving crates and checking the seals on the caps. The floors are almost always wet, which is just part of the job when you’re dealing with water all day. We start early in the morning to get the first batches ready for delivery. Vapi is an industrial town, so we fit right in with the other factories around here. Our space in A/002 isn't huge, but we’ve organized it so we can move as much product as possible. It isn't a glamorous job, and we don't pretend it is. We just focus on keeping the machines running and making sure the water is clean. Most of us live nearby, so it’s a short commute. When the sun goes down, we clean up the equipment and get ready to do it all over again the next day. It is simple, honest work.
