Mehta Mital D. Pharmacist

This is Vijaya Medical & General Stores, and I am Mehta Mital D., the pharmacist here. We are located in the Chanod area, which most people know as Chandor. It’s a local general store and pharmacy all in one. We have been here for quite some time, serving the people who live in this part of town. The shop is full of all sorts of things, from basic household items to the medicines people need. It’s a bit crowded in here because we try to keep everything anyone might ask for. Sometimes it feels like there isn't enough room for all the boxes, but we manage. Chanod is a place where everyone knows each other. You see the same kids growing up and the same elders walking by every day. I spend most of my time behind the counter. It can be a long day, especially when the weather is hot, but it’s part of the job. We don't have a big staff, just us keeping things running. People come in for advice or just to pick up their regular supplies. We don't do any big advertising. Word of mouth in Chandor is usually enough. The shop has a bit of a worn-in look, but it’s clean and we know where everything is. That’s what matters most in a place like this. We just keep serving the community one day at a time.
