We are located at plot 1203 in the 3rd Phase of the GIDC. This part of the industrial zone is usually quite crowded with vehicles and workers. Our building is a functional space where we handle different organic drug components. The lab area takes up a good portion of the floor, and it is filled with glass bottles, scales, and various testing tools. It is not a quiet place, as there is always some equipment running or someone moving crates around. The office part of the building is just a couple of rooms with basic furniture and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. During the monsoon, the roads around the 3rd Phase can get pretty muddy, which makes it a bit of a challenge for the delivery vans to get in and out. We have a small crew that has been working together for a long time, so everyone knows their role. We do not bother much with fancy corporate stuff. Our day starts early with a review of what needs to be processed. Most of the afternoon is spent monitoring the batches and writing down the results in the logbooks. There is a small canteen down the road where we sometimes get snacks. It is a very routine-driven environment. We just show up, do the work that needs doing, and make sure the place is locked up tight at the end of the shift. It is a practical way to run things.
