Gujarat Themis Biosyn Ltd.

Our place, Gujarat Themis Biosyn Ltd., is located at 69/c in the Gidc Industrial Estate. Working in an industrial estate is a bit different from being in the city. It’s all about warehouses, factories, and heavy trucks moving around all day. We’ve been here for a while now, and the routine hasn't changed much over the years. We focus on the biotech side of things, which sounds more complicated than it feels when you're actually doing the work. The building itself is a sturdy industrial unit that has seen a lot of use. It’s not exactly pretty, but it serves the purpose. We have shifts that run through the night sometimes, so there is almost always someone on-site. The air always smells a bit like chemicals and machinery, which you stop noticing after the first hour of work. We don’t have a front desk with a receptionist or anything like that. If someone needs to talk to us, they usually just walk into the main bay and find one of the supervisors. We spend a lot of time maintaining the equipment because if one machine breaks, everything else slows down. It’s a lot of manual work and keeping an eye on the gauges. We’re just a bunch of people trying to keep the production line moving without any major hiccups. The tea stall outside the gate is where we spend most of our breaks, just talking about the day's work.
