Our workshop is over at Plot No. A1/1717 in the 3rd Phase of Gidc Vapi. It’s a big area, and there are plenty of other shops around us doing all sorts of metalwork. We’ve been here long enough to know most of the neighbors. The work we do is mostly about engineering things correctly. You’ll see a lot of tools lying around on the benches. It’s not always the tidiest place, but we know where everything is when we need it. The metal can be heavy, so the guys have to be careful when moving things around the floor. Vapi gets really hot in the summer, and the shed can get stuffy, but we just keep the doors open to catch whatever breeze there is. There’s always a sound of grinding or something being welded in the background. It’s a noisy life, but it’s what we do. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters. We just take the drawings, look at the specs, and get to work on the pieces. Lunch breaks are usually spent sitting together near the main entrance. It’s a simple routine that hasn’t changed much over the years. We keep the machines oiled and the projects moving along. It’s just us doing engineering work in a busy industrial corner of the city. We try to keep the noise down for the people next door, but engineering is rarely a quiet business.
