Our place, Mpoonam Developers Llp, is situated in Orion House. We have units B 121 and 122. It’s right there at Naroli Char Rasta, which is a very busy intersection. There is almost always a lot of traffic and people crossing the road at all hours. Being on the Char Rasta means we are easy to find, but it also means it’s never really quiet. You get used to the sound of trucks and scooters after a while. The office space inside Orion House is decent. We have two units, so we have enough room to spread out our files and maps. The walls are mostly bare except for a few notices and a calendar. It’s a functional environment. We don’t spend much time worrying about the decor. Most of the day is spent on the phone or meeting with people about different development projects. The lighting in B 121 is a bit better than in B 122 for some reason. We have a small kettle for making tea during the breaks. It’s a lot of coordination and keeping track of various site details. The building itself is fairly modern compared to some others in the area, which is nice. We try to keep things tidy, but when you’re busy with developers and paperwork, things can get a bit messy. It’s just a regular office where we put in the hours and get through the list of things to do.
