INNOVATIVE SHELTER BUILDCON PRIVATE LIMITED is the name on the door. It’s a typical shop-front office. We have the glass door and the rolling shutter for when we close up at night. Inside, it’s mostly just the essentials. We have some chairs for people to sit and a big table where we look at plans. Vapi is an industrial kind of town, and Chanod is right in the thick of things. There’s a lot of dust from the road and it gets quite humid, but that’s just how it is in Gujarat. We have a small fan that runs all day to keep the air moving. Our neighbor has a shop that sells hardware, so it’s a handy location for us. We spend a lot of time talking to folks about construction and shelters. It’s not a fancy place with air conditioning that works all the time, but it’s where we do our work. We know the local people and they know where to find us. It’s a basic, honest setup. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just provide a place where people can come and talk about their building needs in Chanod. We have been here for a while now.
