Being in a village area like Talwada is a bit different from being in the middle of a big city like Ahmedabad. It’s a bit quieter, though we stay very busy. We deal with a lot of construction projects in the local area. Most of our day is spent talking to people and checking on the progress of various jobs. The office is a straightforward place where we keep our records and meet with people. We don’t have any polished marketing brochures or anything like that. We just show people what we’ve done and what we’re working on. It’s a lot of hands-on management. We’ve been in this part of Gujarat for some time, and we know how things work around here. The road to the office can be a bit dusty, and the power goes out sometimes, but we just keep going. We don’t make a lot of big promises, we just try to be reliable and get the work finished.
