We operate out of Mohamadpur Hari in the Bhagwanpur area of Vaishali. Sanjay Kumar is the one who keeps things running at the site. This business is all about layer poultry, which means eggs are our main focus. We have a lot of hens, and they do not stop for anything. You have to be there every single day to collect the eggs and make sure the birds have enough water and grain. It is a noisy place with all the clucking, but you stop hearing it after a few months. Bhagwanpur is a decent location for this, though the roads can be rough for the delivery trucks. We keep it simple. We do not have a lot of fancy equipment, just the basics that work. If something breaks, we fix it ourselves. The eggs have to be handled carefully, and that takes a lot of time and patience. Sanjay is usually around if anyone needs to buy in bulk or just wants to talk about the birds. We do not pretend to be more than we are. We are just a small poultry outfit in Vaishali trying to keep the hens happy and the eggs moving out. The weather can be a real pain, especially when it is humid, but we manage. Most of the people working here are from the village. We have known each other for a long time, so we work well together without needing much instruction.
