Zan Zar

Zan Zar is located at shop number 48 inside the Alkapuri Arcade. Alkapuri is one of the busier areas around here, so there is always a lot of activity in the hallways of the arcade. Our shop is quite small, and we focus on selling jewelry like bangles, necklaces, and small earrings. Because the items are small, we keep most of them inside glass display cases so they stay clean and safe. I spend a lot of my time with a soft cloth, wiping the fingerprints off the glass. It’s a quiet place to work, though it can get a bit loud when the arcade gets crowded on the weekends. I’ve been here for several years, and I’ve become friends with the owners of the shops next door. We often share a meal or watch each other's stores if one of us needs to step out for a moment. We don't have any big neon signs or loud advertisements. There’s just a small wooden board with the name of the shop on it. Many of our customers are people who are already in the arcade for other reasons and happen to see something they like in our window. We don’t have a website or a social media page. If someone wants to see what we have, they just have to come in and talk to us. It’s a very traditional way of doing business, but it works for a small place like this.
